The program “Community change training – Phase 2"- the topic of God's Kingdom occurred on the 19th and 20th of June with the participation of more than 30 trainees, consisting of both pastors and Christian members from 18 Christian churches in Hanoi.
From the lesson, Christians can see more clearly about God's Kingdom: - Kingdom is wherever Jesus Christ is a King - His law is performed. - The value of the Kingdom of God will be expressed when every Christian follows God's instruction in the Bible and does everything for His glory. - Building the Kingdom in all four aspects: physical, spiritual, intellectual, and social; from individuals to families, communities, and societies. - It is necessary to join the hands of Christians, the churches, and the denominations for God's Kingdom to be spread on the Earth. - Equipping and training the churches to transform the communities.
The trainees have built a transforming plan from their lives that influence the families and communities by specific actions as follows:
- Fundraising to help the addicts or those in need of emergency aid. - Consulting career and business development. - Opening Christian charity center.
- Teaching children about life skills and holding the Mid-Autumn Festival. Programs - Witnessing the young people, families, relatives, and neighbors through building caring, close, and helping relationships. - Encouraging the youth and women in the churches to serve the Lord. - Visiting the families of the addicts at detoxification centers. - Through Protestant rites such as funerals, weddings to change the communities’ views of these activities. - Building material facilities and developing the quality sources of oriental medicines materials.
Certainly, the faithfulness of doing God's will in the transformation of every Christian life will have positive influences on our families, as well as communities in Vietnam.
Trainees will continue to be trained in Satan’s Deception (Stage 3), Heath (Stage 4), Marriage and Family (Stage 5), Money Management (Stage 6), Salt and Light (Stage 7), Agriculture (Stage 8), Mission (Stage 9), Living for God’s will (Stage 10).
Praying that the Holy Spirit of the Lord will keep connecting us as one so that we can together learn from Lord, learn from each other and serve the communities as God taught to transform the communities around us by God’s power and love.
